What is a Ribbon Cutting?
A special event that celebrates a business milestone, such as a grand opening, expansion, relocation, renovation, anniversary, or new ownership. Hosted in partnership with the Chamber, it provides an opportunity to showcase your business, connect with the community, generate visibility, and officially mark an exciting new chapter for your organization.
Ribbon Cutting Guidelines
Ribbon-cutting requests must be submitted at least three weeks in advance. Requests made with less than three weeks’ notice may be subject to a $200 expedited scheduling fee.
Ribbon cuttings are typically scheduled during the following timeframes:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The Chamber helps coordinate, promote, and support your ribbon cutting by providing event resources, marketing assistance, and valuable community connections to help make your celebration a memorable and successful community event.
