BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce marked a historic milestone during its 100th Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon, held March 31 at the Ledger, by honoring three exceptional community leaders whose contributions continue to shape the region’s growth and success.

As the Chamber celebrates its centennial year, the annual awards recognized individuals who exemplify leadership, service, and a deep commitment to the Bentonville community.

Cindi Marsiglio, Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate at Walmart, was named the recipient of the R.E. “Ed” Buck Award, recognizing outstanding business leadership and service to the community.

This award honors individuals who embody servant leadership—those who lead with excellence, humility, and a strong commitment to others.

Marsiglio was instrumental in the development of Walmart’s new home office campus, a transformative 350-acre project designed to be open, inclusive, and deeply connected to the community. Under her leadership, the campus became one of the largest mass timber developments in the United States, spanning 2.4 million square feet.

Her vision helped create a “campus without walls,” featuring seven miles of walking and biking trails connected to the Razorback Greenway, as well as community-centered spaces and local businesses such as Wright’s BBQ and Airship Coffee.

Through her leadership, the campus was designed not only to serve Walmart associates, but to enrich the broader Bentonville community for generations to come.
